Even listeners who have read Geoffrey Chaucer's will have a better appreciation of the rhythms and melody of his words with Merrison's performance. What's there is good, but it's so short anyway, why abridge it and strip it of context and completeness? Don't bother with this unless you've read the whole thing. It's just a curiosity, well executed.
