The campground holds the grisly secrets of what happened there years ago when jealousy tore friends apart, leaving a terrifying aftermath.

Gary and Linda plan a relaxing camping trip with their two sons. But it's anything but relaxing. When their oldest son begins to experience visions, his terror nearly drives him insane. As his worried parents try to help their son, they, too, experience the horrifying secrets of the woods - a secret which comes alive again after too many years.

Can Gary, Linda, and their sons make it out of the campground before they become another victim of its past?

I struggle with where to even begin with this review.... so, the narration... it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. 2 Stars equals "It's okay" which I guess sums it up. The story is not horror. The story is about a haunting, but it isn't scary in the least. The family dynamic is laughable. The strong, overly-intellectual husband, the reserved, go-along wife, the confused older son and the bratty younger one. The conversations they have are ludicrous. The way they talk through the 'situation' is ridiculous, the conclusions they come to are just dumb, and then the decision to just stay and go hiking and kayaking the next day(s) when one of your concerns is there could be an acute, very serious brain related issue (like schizophrenia) developing in your son, is unbelievable. I read some Amazon reviews and kept waiting for it to get better. It did not... it just ended (ridiculously). I'm sorry to the author... but people need at least one warning.
