This book was incredibly relatable and a great reminder that if you’re experiencing stress and burnout, you aren’t alone.
Rather than offering blanket-statement advice, the author dives into how your past and your personality contribute to your ability to manage stress and burnout. He offers practical coping strategies and ways to realign your priorities to find more balance in life.
This book will definitely be one that I revisit when I need a reminder of what’s truly important in life.

Relateable delivery of profound realizations

As many can relate, burnout is real and can affect your life negatively. This book is an excellent guide to reducing burnout in your own life. I plan to exercise the tips I learned in this informative and well-written book. This is one title I will sure to revisit every time I find myself slipping into a heavy workload. I highly recommend this book for anyone suffering from burnout in their own lives. Taking a few hours of time to read this could very well improve your life, or even save it! The narrator also had a nice voice and spoke very professionally.

You probably really need this. Really!

I was surprised how much I really needed this. I recommend reading or listening to this book when you can get free of distractions and really focus. This is a bargain compared to the consequences of burning out or going to a $300 an hour therapist.
Personally, I probably knew somewhere inside of me what causes me to feel burned out. I probably even knew that I should do something about it. But this book VALIDATED my inner thoughts. I.E. Two years ago I had a boss that was toxic. I finally felt I could not have any self-respect working for such an insane and dishonest person. But I still had self doubts about leaving the well-paying job. The second to last chapter in particular helped me realize I was burned out and that I had made the healthy choice.
And there are many many more truths that will help you balance your life and figure things out.
