Personally, I probably knew somewhere inside of me what causes me to feel burned out. I probably even knew that I should do something about it. But this book VALIDATED my inner thoughts. I.E. Two years ago I had a boss that was toxic. I finally felt I could not have any self-respect working for such an insane and dishonest person. But I still had self doubts about leaving the well-paying job. The second to last chapter in particular helped me realize I was burned out and that I had made the healthy choice.
And there are many many more truths that will help you balance your life and figure things out.
