I said he’d cheat on her — but she wouldn’t listen.

Emmie's narrator
I am not sure if it was deliberate given Emmie's ailment, but the narrator sounded breathless and you could physically hear swallowing and breaths taken mid sentence. It was a bit off putting.
Otherwise the story is lovely, just lovely!
