Story is Great however AI reader no just no!

Loved the story. I hated the AI reader and was distracted by it's mispronunciations of words, choppiness of stops and starts, and seeming voice inflections in the wrong areas.
However I loved the characters and story line.

I've listened to many of her titles. I love the stories, but I'm hopeful she'll consider hiring an actual narrator. I'm going to listen either way. Lol

Red flags everywhere

Loved the story, this guy is a major red flag but I enjoyed everything about the story line. Will love to hear it with good narrators, the AI voice does not make it justice.

Ok ok I’m just being greedy this was a complete story. Nothing was left to be desired. The author did a great job per usual at introducing characters, building the storyline, character development , and concluding the story! I’m satisfied!

AI is awful

I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks and podcasts. I attempted my review 30 minutes in but had to let it drone on a few more minutes before I could write this. The AI read of this books lacks the nuance of human conversation and the ability to perceive the story thereby altering cadence, inflection, etc. It truly sounds robotic with a slight pause after every punctuation mark, the same voice
fluctuations whether describing a person’s dress or reading a text or whatever else was happening. I cannot tell you what the story is about as my mind kept wandering: every voice and every situation sounds the same. Thankfully I did not pay for this. The story might be awesome. I gave it a 3 star because I couldn’t get through the 1st chapter and have no idea if it’s any good. The AI read is definitely not a good idea for Audible to pursue.

This is not for me. I like cozy mysteries. The review did not show its for mature audience. Foul language and sex.

Virtual voice s$$ks

The story was good although a murdering hero seemed out of place and unresolved. But that virtual voice was terrible. It paused at inappropriate times, it put syntax on the wrong words or not at all making it choppy.
