Just “Meh”…
I guess I would best describe my review of this book as “indifferent.” I am a huge fan of books of this era, but of the books I’ve read this one falls sort of mid range as far as ratings go. It wasn’t the worst, but it was far from the best. I finished it only because it’s relatively short, I’m vaguely familiar with the story and because it was not altogether awful. Apologies I just don’t have a better word than “MEH” I did rather enjoy the voice of the narrator though. She had a lovely accent, which at times made the book somewhat enjoyable.

Extremely Engaging Novel
I've never listened to a story in this genre before, so I went into it not knowing what to expect. But I found myself thoroughly enthralled in it, looking forward with every chapter to find out what happens next. The only reason I docked one star from the performance was because at times, it was really difficult to tell the difference between the inner monologue and the dialogue, so that caused some slight confusion.
