Once he recognizes that the only way to get ahead in his life is to follow Abner's guidance, Johnny must make some big choices.

loved how the narrator made this story real.

Enjoyed It!

Great characters and dialogue! An absolutely masterful narration with distinctly different voices for each character which makes it easy to keep track of who’s talking and “lose yourself” in the story.

The plot is a basic getting sober story, very Hallmark - but it’s written and told well enough to stay engaged. I teared up a couple of times.

If you’re needing inspiration to stay sober, this is well worth hearing.
