Interesting plot with unexpected twists.
Plot moves along nicely. A few unexpected twists. Characters are likable/ believable. Narrater took a little getting used to but I am a fan now. On to book 2!

not for me
I didn't enjoy this at all really. I assumed that an Australian audience would like it more for it's heavy Australian historical connections but the story of the people as disjointed with things seemingly randomly happening. A random side story about an ex-husband that was completely unnecessary. Do not recommend.
