Inspiring

I listen to audible often and it is difficult when the voice is not easy to listen to. This book had a reader that I looked forward to hearing. Her voice was so soothing. I am so glad someone made a mission to write such an amazing book for women in leadership. It was something that needed to be done. Thank you for this work of art.

Enjoyable listen

The book is focused for female religious leaders. A friend recommended it, saying it had insights for those of us not particularly religious as well. I would agree with that; much of what is highlighted can be used in fortifying your personal female leadership philosophy. I found the narrator really added to my enjoyment of this book . She had just the right presence for the material.

A refreshing look at spirituality

This book is nominally intended to strengthen women who are spiritual leaders. However, I think anyone who feels stifled by traditional religion would benefit from Dr Goff’s insights. She helps her audience understand how to clarify and deepen their relationship with themselves, with their bodies, with God and others. As a woman, I especially appreciated being told that my feelings are my super power. The reader for this book is convincing and pleasant to listen to. She made me feel I was having a conversation with the author, rather than being read to.

Empowering

This was a fresh take on spirituality and badass women. I was very inspired by the approach to leadership. The narrator gripped my attention from the beginning and held onto it throughout.
