Pleasantly surprised
The dynamics of the ladies who lived together was complex, endearing, perplexing and just down right interesting. I found myself getting vested in the outcome of each of the characters.

Mindless - in a good way
This was my first Danielle Steel novel and I picked it because I wanted something that I could listen to while driving, but not have to pay complete attention to. This was perfect for that and I found it overall fairly entertaining.

Disappointing
Not Daniel Steel's usually interesting stories. Slow, kept waiting for for something to happen . I also felt that the reader should have been a woman seeing as the focus of the story was on these women.

The Apartment is only for mindless entertainment.
The Apartment is one of several of Danielle Steels fun books about relationships. Fun and entertaining but way too predictable. Not necessarily one I would recommend.
