So fun!

It was a super fun book! I really enjoyed it. I usually listen to duet, but this was great without it. The book is fun and light, just what you need to put a smile on your face.

Amazing fun filled edge of seat action and twists never expected. a wonderful read.🤗

There was nothing I disliked about this read, it was easy to follow, fun to continue and a joy to spend time on.

Silly story with good intentions

I liked the main environmental messages. And the author drove home the point about self actualization. But the characters were silly and I didn’t relate to them. I didn’t understand the ending but I also didn’t care.

Fun read

To be fair, there isn’t a book that Jen Lancaster has written that I haven’t read and listen to an absolutely loved. This was a fun, lighthearted, easy to listen to book. I didn’t completely get the very very end with the epilogue. The last sentence was a little confusing, but I think it was meant to be that way if you like her other fiction books, you’ll like this one.

Painful

Huge fan of Jen. This story was all over , I think I may have earned a college credit for the earth science lecture, & still left without closure . Ouch

The challenges of adulting and facing your fears

Friends Emily and Liv are in a rut. Emily was once an eco-terrorist but is now a non-tenured, unsatisfied university lecturer teaching about the threat of global warming to students, most of whom are not interested in learning about the environment. Liv is a reall estate agent who has become a people pleaser. She is being walked over by everyone in her life: her sister, her mother and her co-workers - not to mention her clients.

When the 2 women witness a woman fight off an attempted robbery during their yoga class they learn that the woman attributes her success to a class entitled “Fearless, Inc.” Together Emily and Liz sign up for the class hoping to find themselves again and to recognize their fears and overcome them. An assortment of other individuals, each with his or her fears and flaws are also in the class which is taught by a man named Zeus. Through unconventional and sometimes absurd activities and “challenges” each participant is encouraged to recognize and face his or her fears.

A fun, fast moving, humorous tale of the struggles of adulting and facing your fears while being true to yourself. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unlikely Heroes

I enjoyed the characters and plot very much. Very interesting to listen to; good readers

I still have no idea what this book was trying to convey...

One of the worst books I have ever finished. The only reason I did because it is a book club choice.

bunch of ridiculousness. This book is a waste of time. It was not worth reading.

Should be labeled a YA book

Voices are annoying, storyline has no depth. The point about fear holding us back is good, however the presentation did not sufficiently demonstrate the point.
