Good story.

Because I value human narrators so much, I can’t bring myself to rate a virtual voice performance anything other than one star even though it wasn’t bad.

The story was interesting and held my attention. I liked that Ryze was paired with a human and I loved how Emori was able to handle herself when challenged. I'm ready to get the next book when it becomes available.

Engrossing Story!

I couldn’t put this down. Actually, I carried my phone around with my earbuds in so I could keep listening while I made dinner and cleaned up. This is now my favorite book by this author. She did an excellent job of bringing the two main characters from enemies to lovers interest as well as gaining respect from the pact for the main female character.

I hope to see more in this series/world.
