Tales of Aurduin continues in this exciting third installment of the series with The Alchemist and the Eagle.
The religion of the Tal is spreading its message of the Holy Kyandara and the Mother of the Perfect Creation across the face of Aurduin. A determined group of resistance fighters is gathering in Jeaniaurduin, ready to strike out against the invading Jolao Empire. As the Jolao ready their ultimate weapon, their leader, Rin Jao, is dreaming of a mysterious temple that houses an enigmatic egg.
Miraanni has entered into the body of the earth, though her followers expect a triumphant return. Ashi explores her new powers via her connection the the kyandara. Nataali attempts the impossible by traveling west and seeking out who among the Jolao she might influence. Ulusi ecologist, Otho Yot, turns his talents to weapon manufacturing. Meanwhile, Orobai goes in search of the enigmatic White Eagle.
Throughout it all, the numerous plot threads and story lines weave together into a complex tapestry of a world quickly heading to an apocalyptic change as a young girl, Kalisha, takes up Orobai's instruction that she document it all.
This audiobook is read by the author and also features his original music.
