Ash Rashid is a former homicide detective who can't stand the thought of handling another death investigation. In another year, he'll be out of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department completely. That's the plan, at least, until his niece's body is found in the guest home of one of his city's most wealthy citizens. The coroner calls it an overdose, but the case doesn't add up. Good book but…
Great book but I read this book after the 2nd book, By All Means. Unless I missed it, neither book had part1 or part2. Disappointing

Poor Narrator hurts story
I found it difficult to stay interested in this story because of the poor narration. Mr. Ganim has a fairly robotic tone of voice--especially when he is doing female characters. After awhile, all the females sounded alike. They were mechanical--almost like computer voices.
Too bad--I think I'll get the print book and read that. This is awful!
