T.D. tries to help one understand who we are beyond the physical, behind the mask that religion has created for us. Those with ears to hear what the SPIRIT is saying, let THEM hear. Many things have been HIDDEN from humanity by those in power for one reason or another, it is our job as individuals to SEARCH for the TRUTH and separate it from TRADITION.

TD has a way of story telling like Jesus spoke parables, only true believers will understand the truth between the lines. Remember... even His disciples had to ask him what he was talking about at times. We walk by FAITH not by sight, we also SEE with eyes not made of flesh and HEAR beyond the physical realm.
If you are comfortable where you are, in the church or group you are in, you are not seeking to know more because their are ALWAYS questions to ask when 1 is seeking the truth. DONT settle for scraps of truth and wisdom from man.

There is always more to experience.

Forever Changed

I've never had a book outside the Bible change me at my core like this one. REmember

Ending was a bit breathy regarding the bible,,,

The story line held me throughout,,,, the 20 min at the end was boring - although probably a entryway for the next book.

Dekker has done great research

Very thought provoking.,interesting, and kept me listening long into the nights. Can't wait to hear book 2.

Excellent story!

I have loved all of Ted Dekker’s books. This is the first I have listened to instead of reading a hard copy.

Intertwined

I’m love how characters from other stories can be intertwined in other series. I thoroughly enjoyed the continuation of the Circle series

A welcome return

Ted Dekker never disappoints and this is not an exception. The 49th Mystic returns us to the world created in The Circle and within it's pages peals back incredibly deep truths that only can be truly taught through parable. Beautiful.

Mind (and heart) altering!

Our world, other world. Love and fear. Sight with no vision. Old life, new life. Jumping from a simple life to the transformed, yet still unlearned mystic life. Power from beyond that we have, but are unaware of. The message of this book will 'transform you by the renewing of your mind.'

Not for me

Listening to this book was like listening to a church sermon. Unfortunate, because it started out very promising.
