Use them also in inspiration; let them help you find the words to pray in challenging times - and find the words to cry out to God. With powerful and uplifting language, this book helps you open a channel to God, build a relationship with him, and be transformed by the power of prayer.
God answers our prayers. We may not often see his hand at work, creating miracles and healing the sick as Jesus did, but that doesn't mean he is powerless to help us today. He can use us (and others) to do his holy will in the world. We don't even need to recognize this; he moves in ways we cannot see. He always helps us through our difficulties and challenges in life.
The more we seek him, the more we will be able to see his hand at work. As we come to a better understanding of who God is and how much he loves us, we will become aware of what he has done and is willing to do. Because of his love, we find the answers to our prayers - even those that were there all along. Even if we can't see an immediate change in circumstance, we can learn to trust the heart of the Lord who loves us.
Through the challenges in our lives, we can grow to become better people - and better Christians. These challenges shape us into the people the Lord wants us to be - if we allow him to work in our lives. As we grow in faith and trust in the words of Jesus, we know that he will always be with us, "even to the end of the age".
