A good but outdated overview
Wow, does time fly. China in 2023 doesn’t look much like 2019 China. Reading this is like reading a Japan-will-rule-the-world written in 1989. I am not sure this book has much of a market anymore, but it does a pretty good job of describing a now lost and almost forgotten world.
