So much more than football!

I’ll be the first to tell you, I’m not a fan of football. With that said, this book is so much more than football. It is a steamy story, in the most descriptive way. Also, the F word is consistent throughout. With that said, it is written to define one man’s life and gives us a glimpse into his soul. If you are like me and don’t cuss, do what I did and tune out the F word. I’m saying this because if you don’t, you will miss one remarkable story.

Ms. Jarecki has written an amazing, incredibly passionate, and very meaningful book, with a beautiful yet troubled story line of how alcoholism takes over one’s life. To me it’s a story of true courage and overcoming the fear of doing everything without that liquid courage, as well as choosing to draw from your own inner strength. But it isn’t something one can do alone. Jeb drew on the strength of one person at first and her love for him started Jeb on his path of finding his own strength, his own courage and surrendering to AA support groups. There is help and support out there if you grab on to it and never let go. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom and having your world turned upside down. This story takes you through all of these things but it has one of the most beautifully strong, passionate love stories I’ve ever read. And that love brings forth miracles in the life of one man. All of these things and so much more are why I highly recommend this audiobook.
I feel the heroine in this story saw the heart of Jeb. And shouldn’t we all look at the heart of someone and base our thoughts on that? Together they embark on a path,
a relationship and a journey for Jeb’s sobriety. This is a remarkable, emotional, sensual story. Get the audiobook. The narrators do a great job. And I really enjoyed Wen’s Ross’ voice.
Thank you to the Amy Jarecki for brilliantly writing this series and bravely telling stories that touched her heart. They have touched mine as well.
