Unique and Wonderful

This book was surprising. I was a little startled by some of the sexy content (Some say I should read the synopsis, but I find they often give away the good parts like movie trailers do *grin* ;)
but I actually found the honesty of the experiences freeing in a way that let me relax and look at my own beliefs and stereotypes.
It was also surprising that this story could be so light and funny while being so raw and vulnerable. I appreciated the introspection and the lack of whining and/or preachy that I find in a lot of other memoirs.
The story is interesting and unique, but I think listening to the author read makes it even more powerful and endearing.

In a world that needs more symmetry, amazing on so many levels. Highly recommend to anyone.

this was a self help book for the author, by the author. very little about swinging

she is so real!

Her story of life is so funny and she's great at building the back story so you completely understand what was going on

Really much deeper and more meaningful than I was expecting

I actually didn’t know what this book was about until I started to listen. As I listened, I assumed it would be a somewhat one dimensional story of alternate lifestyles, but the journey of self discovery, personal growth, and ultimately transformation was very inspiring. I really exceptional book!

Vulnerable Like Nothing Before, Powerful Emotions.

Absolutely the most honest, authentic, appropriately graphic and vulnerable read ever. If you want a true insight into the Swing Lifestyle Ashleigh nails it! Listening to her voice is gripping and by the end you feel like Ashleigh is a close friend. 5 stars throughout. Eye opening to the struggles of monogamous marriage in today’s world. Highly reccomend this read! Ashleigh is a rising star on this global planet!

I really tried to like it…but

It was very deceptive in the sense that I thought I was going to read a book about swinging and relationships (considering the cover and title) but it went in and out of raunchy stories, then would jump to stories about raising kids being a mom, to then growing up and old memories, then random self love stuff and then back again to a raunchy sex club story… I struggled to follow and it gave a fiction vibe with the authors style of writing and describing things… not what I was hoping for.

Modern Woman who wants all control but only half of the responsibility

Great writing. Someone trying to be honest with herself and almost gets there. Thoughtful sex stories that can transform your mind into what it must be like in the “lifestyle”. Self proclaimed hippie who has no tolerance for people who doesn’t think the way she does. Ready to destroy a family when good doesn’t become perfect. Great book but man, I was so mad at her.

Came for the sex, stayed for the story

Sex is the hook.
And in this case, it's the beautiful message.

This is not a book full of smut.
Though there may be a little in there ;)

This is not a wild tale full of unbelievable or sensational characters.
I found the author's candor refreshing and totally relatable.

What this is is a wonderfully balanced, thought-provoking, intimate, and thoroughly entertaining listen.

If you're even the slight bit curious, I'd encourage you to give it a listen.
