Surviving Irrelevance is a Post Apocalyptic novel based in the Midwestern United States. As they work to gather supplies to and make a new life, they are contacted by another small group of survivors in Idaho who are in desperate need of assistance. After relocating to the Midwest the Speer family lends a hand in building a new existence until Mother Nature decides to intervene.
