Loved this story

I enjoyed listening to this story about a woman who is trapped in a life she didn't choose and with people who were supposed to take care of her. I loved that she found her escape and the love of a great man. I look forward to listening to more stories from this author and this narrator.

I really love this book. Jody is a gifted writer.

Julia is an excellent narrator. I look forward to listening to all the other ones that she has written

Sunrise Crossing

This is the fourth book in this series. This book starts out more about Yancy. He is fixing up his house that he inherited. A girl is hiding out in the loft. They become close. A stranger shows up in town that's tied to Yancys past. Yancey's secret friend is hiding out from her family. People is hunting her. Her and her friend Parker. Gabe is the stranger that's tied to Yancey's past and also is one of the people hunting for Tori. Tori is the girl that Yancey's taken a liken to. Everything comes together at the end of the book. This book is written perfectly. It holds your attention. Yancey's learns a lot about his past. Tori ends up getting kidnapped and there is a good showdown at the end.
