Sun Kissed Book 7 by Catherine Anderson.

I have one problem with the Performance, the men's voices were hard to tell who is who is speaking. They most all sounded like very old men. Could you add additional people to do the voices of all the characters? Loved the story and there were many twists and turns that I never did see coming. Excellent Mystery. A very surprise ending. I am now on Book 8 of this series, Morning Light. Thank you Catherine Anderson for not loading the story with very full chapters of descriptive love making. Enough to keep it loving was entertaining. One of your best stories.

This story had it all!

I loved it that this book had so many interesting characters with their own stories and a lot of different twists and turns. Romance, family drama, criminal acts of extreme violence and the fear that the villains would escape and the innocent punished. My one complaint is that the male voice was just awful. Needed a far better male narrator!

Romance, intrigue and horses...who could ask for more?

The story was good and the mystery interesting though predictable. I enjoy having characters previously met being reintroduced in the story line.

I love the whole series

Catherine Anderson is a wonderful author. I like how each book is entwined with family. I wish there were more series out like these.

Catherine Anderson need I say more

Mrs. Anderson, in my opinion, is a phenomenal author. Tucker and Sammie are perfect for each other. She owns a ranch and he is a large animal vet. They both love horses. Then as Mrs. Anderson is great at there is a mystery that needs solved. I have several favorite narrators and Suzanne Toren is one of them. She has one of those voices that you either love or hate. In my opinion she changes voices/tones enough that you can distinguish the difference between characters. Even when there is several characters in a scene. I’ve listened to this particular series several times. I will continue to listen to the series. Now listen/read the next in the series to find out about Clint. 😁

I loved the wholesomeness of the book It is the perfect cozy romantic book I love the authors way of writing and the way book flows.

One more excellent book

Another fantastic book , you don’t want to stop , parts of this makes your heart ache . Just either read this or listen to it . Cathie Anderson has always taken you on a wonderful voyage with her writing . Thank you

'Sun Kissed' by Catherine Anderson, book 7 in the Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan series. Audible Premium Plus borrow. Dual POV. The ebook sample includes a family tree. It's listed as 12 hours 22 minutes. I listened for 4 hours 57 minutes at speed 2.50. Narrator Suzanne Toren is easy to understand and has a nice pace, but her voice for most of these characters is too mature. This one held my attention, but it was sadly predictable. Content warnings: horse abuse, po¡son¡ng, and murder; h was a DV victim; Bethany's racing incident left her a paraplegic; and h ex-husband attempts to k¡ll her.

Samantha Jane Harrigan (29; aka Tinker Bell/Sam/Sammy) is the youngest of five children, is petite, has long black curly hair, and has brown eyes. She is a devout Catholic but is now a divorced DV survivor. She and her four older brothers inherited 200 acres of the Harrigan ranch and enough capital to start their own businesses when they turned 21. She is the owner of Sage Creek Quarter Horse Ranch and breeds and trains quarter horse. Dr Tucker Coulter DVM (35) has brown hair and blue eyes, is 6'4" tall, a veterinarian, has a photograph memory, was an award winning wrestler in high school and college, and wanted to be a cop when he was little. He loves fine things, including his two-story, professionally decorated Victorian home and his English garden. He has a pet rottweiler named Max. The two meet at the rodeo after Samantha confronts a man abusing his horse. Later, Tucker is called to her ranch to help her sick stallion. Tucker is able to quickly assess the situation and treat the horse. Sadly, Samantha's horses aren't all saved. Her ex-husband seduced one of her stable hands and convinced her to do his dirty work. In the end, they're both in jail. The epilogue finds Tucker and Samantha on their wedding day, Frank plans to marry DeeDee, Mary is on a mission to convert her family to Catholicism, and Clint caught Samantha's bouquet.
