Aussi fulgurante que rocambolesque, son existence s'est achevée sur un point d'interrogation : une mort dans des circonstances obscures qui suscite encore la polémique.
Aucun autre romancier que Philippe Jaenada, doté d'un humour irrésistible, d'un style inimitable et d'une tendresse non dissimulée pour ses personnages, n'aurait pu s'emparer de la vie mouvementée de Bruno Sulak et retracer avec autant de talent ce temps où les gangsters avaient encore du panache.
