New location but same great story
The team went further afield in Wales in this book. Love the descriptions of the area that they found themselves in.Almost felt like I could see it and experience it. Interesting plot with many twists. Surprise ending mixed with a bit of sadness. Once again, another great book. It was well worth the listen.

Love the Welsh venue, love the writing, love the narrator
This series is very satisfying with an engaging mystery every time but, more importantly, with interesting, complex returning characters. The bonus is the narrator who has found a distinct voice that fits the lead detective perfectly - low, measured but in a manner that has you leaning in. And the occasional Welsh place name or phrase? Lovely.

All done with this series!
Not 20 minutes into this one and I am done. Can't even pay attention due to the judgmental take on anything to do with a lifestyle this author does not agree with. I've had it with authors who want to tell us how to live our lives, what politics to believe in, or misogynists who judge women by their bodies. Done and will not be reading anything written by this author again.
