Worthwhile content marketing

Penn’s business acumen is impressive - I’ve just paid for her content marketing! This book has useful, practical information for someone figuring out their publishing options. A lot of these resources are shared on her website “The Creative Penn,” but I appreciated the audiobook option here.

Wow, inspirational

This is a much better book than I expected. At first I thought this was just a self-promotional equivalent of an infomercial. It’s not. It is a satisfying book to listen to. I will probably look at other of her books.

Joanna Delivers, as she always does

As a rather new indie author, I appreciate Joanna's insights. With years of experience growing with the ebook and print on demand aspects of publishing, she knows what she's talking about. She is also an excellent narrator of her own work. Why re-invent the wheel? If you're an author, I highly recommend this book, as well as her podcasts. I know how busy I am, writing, marketing, and keeping up with daily household chores, so I appreciate audio as a time-saver.

I listened to your book over and over because there is so much good information. I debated self-publishing vs. traditional publishing and eventually decided to try doing myself. I was nervous but your book helped so much and I finally published on Amazon. Now, I'm listening to your marketing book. Thank you for writing these helpful books. I just have one suggestion. It would be nice if the table contents had chapter titles.

As I begging my journey of publishing my first book, this book has been one of the most helpful tools I’ve used. This is because she not only shares valuable resources with the reader, but she offers advice that is delivered in a way that sounds like it’s coming from a friend.

I have been obsessing a bit over the publishing of my first book, which is the reason that I still haven’t published it. But after reading this I feel confident that my first book is truly only the beginning and that I have the ability to publish many more after that first one.

Definitely worth it to listen to this book whether you’re already a published author, or you’re just exploring!

Very much appreciate this woman! She has so many resources to learn about all parts of the business, and I am just starting out on learning what she has to pass on. I can’t wait to read her other books on the various parts of publishing that I need help with.

This is the best book on becoming an indie author out there, bar, none! Joanna’s advice is clear and easy to follow and get results. If you want to be in in the author, build your career and your brand, you have to take notice of this book.
