Heart Piercing
Truth is stranger than fiction and this harrowing and beautiful real-life account of a being struck by a bus brought me to tears, made me smile, sometimes both at the same time while prompting me to be grateful for the life I had. It reminds me (and us) of the fragility and sometimes freakishly random twists of fate that change our lives in an instant. Beautifully narrated by its author, “Struck”is evocative, heartbreaking, deep-down honest and funny. I highly recommend this book particularly if you’re wishing for a better or a different life - “Struck” will make you grateful for the life you already have.

Makes you think....
One minute, you're going about your morning, and the next-life as you know it is changed forever.
This book sure made me think about mortality. I am reminded to tell my loved ones how I feel about them as we may not get an "in a minute" or a "maybe later."
What a lucky lady. And God bless the entire family for their growth and resilience in the face of such a tragedy.
