Acerca de esta escucha
Strangers among us: are we alone? looks into the world’s history, impact of, and continued search for extraterrestrials. Written by Dr. Nim Sofa this brief tome emphasizes the exact events of our interaction with space beyond our Earth, and how those moments have shaped our species. The search for aliens on a whole has been controlled by world governments, but the actions of certain individuals have had a huge effect on this field. From ancient Greece, the Renaissance, all the way to Modern society, and beyond is speckled with the presence of our search for life other than our own.
This book looks at the history, while it also explores the context of aliens on Earth as well as their likelihood. Is there a biochemical basis for extraterrestrials? We know life likely exists on habitable planets, but we have no definitive evidence that it is there. The scientific search continues even to this day. Our sometimes torrid history with aliens, has had a resounding impact on our culture as well as our scientific pursuits. The government has had its role in both furthering the funding of and controlling our search for aliens. In spite of all the struggles, the search for life continues because the truth is out there and the human race will not rest until it is found.
