Wow

Each book is better than the last. This story has so many twists and turns which I thoroughly enjoy. I never know where it will take me. Darling’s quest to save the all the world’s human race is becoming an Epic tale. Darling’s circle of trusted friends is getting bigger. As her power grows so does her love and protection of Megan and Demitri—her two most trusted beings. What a story! I am so glad there is a fourth book. Just from the sneak leak it’s going to be Monumental. The narration is so consistent and breathes life into the characters.

Full of action, sizzle, and fun characters

Book one was a book of introduction, learning, and seeking. Book two was all about growth and acceptance, new realities, and new beginnings....now in Book 3 Darling comes into her own....she finds the strength and power inside herself to push through and to try to fix what generations of magic have come to believe as inevitable and to create a new start for humankind. With her friends beside her, she fights her enemies to get to the truth and to stop what others said could not be stopped.
I have truly enjoyed this series and "watching" the story roll out..to see the growth in each of the characters and to follow along in Darling's quest to bring her world back and save humanity.
Lots of heat, action, and good characters in a story that was fun and held you captivated.
The narration was brilliant with the use of her voice to bring the story alive.
I am truly waiting for the next book.

The Mission: Reverse the Curse!

Darling Price, along with her friends, Megan, Dimitri, and Esa Tor, set out to learn what it would take to not only stop the Zombie Apocalypse, but also to prevent it from happening to the millions of other worlds, in other dimensions!
Battling against her Nemesis/sister Orphelia, her familiars, Sookie aka 7th, and a myriad other mythical creatures, as well as Mother Nature herself, Darling learns that all is truly not as it seems!
That she learns the truth concerning Emmanuel, and the Dream Lover, is another complication.
Like the battles of legend, Darling learns that the “modern day “ Deities are not above playing their games!
Maria Hunter Welles’s renditions of the characters were markedly improved.
This audible reads like a fantasy but I found myself falling into the role of Darling as the epic saga continued.
