Acerca de esta escucha

Most terrorism experts agree: it is not "if" we are attacked again, but "when". Yet the assault has already happened. A silent battle is being waged on our nation every day. Not with guns and bombs, but via covert sources: Islamic charities, the ACLU, even presidential candidates.

They are all pawns in a stealth holy war, unwittingly advancing the jihadist agenda not by violence but through endeavors designed to acclimate and subject us to Islamic law - just the way Osama bin Laden wants it.

In Stealth Jihad, best-selling author Robert Spencer exposes how a silent but lethal movement is advancing on the United States and calls upon Americans to resist it - before it's too late.

It Pays To Know Thy Neighbor

Our society is filled with life's little subtleties, and this book reminds me that there are many things going on in our midst that were not even aware of.

I remember a great saying that I heard many years ago..... " Notice What You Notice". I guess if ever there was a time to heed that advice, the time is now. But, yet at the same time we can't live in fear and we have to continue living the life that we have.

Good To Be On Your Guard... but Not Paranoid

I found this book to be a fascinating look into the various dynamics to make up the fabric of America itself, the blending of the “melting pot” of various cultures, religions and peoples from all over the world.

The author takes somewhat of a paranoid perspective (and probably rightfully so since America was attacked on 9/11) in investigating and taking a close look at the infiltration of Islam throughout American culture.

Of course, we should a learned a long time ago that “one bad apple don’t spoil the whole bunch more”, but there’s a natural tendency to fall into “groupthink” and develop an “us versus them” mentality.

I don’t believe this is good in the long run, but it is one of the knee-jerk reactions that people tend to fall into.

There’s no doubt we have enemies both abroad and now in the homeland, but we have to realize what we’re doing to ourselves if we begin to become isolationist, paint other groups with the same broad brush, profile and pre-judge people and situations just because it’s based out of fear.

I do agree with the author in this regard, and that we need to be on our guard, notice things that are “out of the ordinary” and be sure we report those unusual activities to the proper authorities.
This is a good book to read, and as long as you keep a level head and rationale about everything, it can be very helpful in all of us trying to figure out how to get along a little bit better.

a 'must listen' and very well done

I confess I had this one around for awhile, thinking it would be a bit dry but I 'ought' to listen to it. I finally did and it was great. I realize that I fall into the group...most of us...that if we're not willing to do much to protect our freedoms and we're fighting a foe that will do anything and everything to achieve their ends (such as give their own lives), then I'm part of the problem. The book makes a compelling case and Robert Spencer is a very solid analyst and researcher. Really, I came away thinking that we'll look back at the last 10 to 12 years and realize we were focused on the wrong thing (another possible attack, wars) while insidiously something far more subtle and far-reaching was occurring. I'm ready to read another!

The pernicious motive of indoctrinated religion

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Insightful as to how opportunistic agents work in the background to alter the belief
structure of the vulnerable in a society.

Excellent book that reveals the danger of Islam.

Is Islam a religion of peace or is silencing the critics part of an overall supremacist Islamic Agenda. The book clearly says that silencing is a part of a larger agenda-to rule the world under shari'a.

Intro to the Radical Islamic Agenda for America

The implications of Spencer's book, at first glance, struck me as alarmist hyperbole designed to sell books to a fearful audience. However with careful documentation of the subject matter and a persuasive writing style, he carefully makes his points without the use of the fear mongering rhetoric that I had feared prior to purchasing this audiobook.

The narrator, Lloyd James, was an excellent choice. His voice is authoritative, yet not condescending. He reads with an even tone and cadence that contributed to the perception that this book was a reasoned, factual documentary of the radical Islamic agenda for the United States.

Unfortunately, it is precisely the fact that this book is a well-documented, reasoned, and calmly presented account of its topic, and not a shrill, anti-Islamic diatribe, that make its conclusions all the more frightening for our nation's future. This book's implications are an unpleasant reality that must be understood and confronted by the American public. Put this selection on your "must read" (listen) list.

A Must "Listen"

For years I have been aware of the subtle but significant changes happening in America to accomodate and appease Muslims. Robert Spencer in a very concise and clear manner exposes the Muslim agenda which is to take superiority over all other religions and infuse Sharia law into Western civilization in a manner which is unbeknownst to many and especially those who we rely on to protect us at the highest levels. This is a must read for every thinking individual who is cognisant of what is happening in Europe and around the globe where the Muslim agenda is quietly and forcefully changing the world in which we live.
