There are few books that I thoroughly enjoy at this level and this is one of them. The whole series has been excellent so far and it is wonderful news to learn that there will be more in this series to look forward to. I loved this story…perfect amount of romance and suspense!
I loved the time period for this time-travel adventure. The main characters had a spicy amount of attraction from the start. He’s a noble from the 1300’s. She’s a detective from the present. With surprising skills at fighting using her modern kickboxing and police training, Sybil saves the life of a handsome noble from dungeons and plagues, but he saves her too from her own demons.
