Great Edition to a Fantastic Series

There are so many “best” parts to this book and all of Marie Force’s other books. The twists and turns and cliffhangers are the best I’ve ever read. I love how this series has it all. Love, romance, suspense, politics, adorable kids, and nail biting who dunnits. If you haven’t read the Fatal Series/First Family Series, you are missing out.
No other author that I know does has much as Marie does to interact with her readers. She is a gem! I own all 102 books Marie has written and there isn’t a loser among any of them. Do yourself a favor and give her a try.

Can’t get enough of Sam and Nick!

I don’t know how Marie is able to keep writing stories that keep you on the edge of your seat. Love this couple and their adorable kids. Eva Kaminsky is an awesome narrator. She is great at all voices!

Once again Marie you did a great job keeping me intrigued. Love everything about this book.

Lady what are you doing to me? This story was fantastic as I have come to expect from your talents; but the ending.......you are gonna kill me with curiosity until the next book comes out. But I am a loyal fan so I shall wait.
Also for anyone else reading this. If you haven't fallen in love with Sam, Nick and all of their fabulous friends and family yet. All I can say is what are you waiting on? grab book 1 in the fatal series and dive in with a big bowl of popcorn. You won't be sorry!

Great story

I couldn’t wait to listen to State of Alert and it was another edge of your seat listen and a fabulous addition to the series.

I was so invested in this audiobook and the story that Ms. Force wove, that I listened to it in almost one sitting. Eva Kaminsky did a good job bringing the story to life for me and her voice is easy to listen to as she narrates. I do think that these stories would benefit from a male narrator performing the male characters.

There were numerous twists and turns, and I cannot wait to see what happens next with the First Family, their family and friends.

So many twists and turns weaved into a beautiful family story with real situations and issues. Beautifully written and told.

A presidential and law enforcement family about which the reader cares. Like others in the series, this keeps the reader interested and wanting more

Great storyline

Loved the whole storyline - I hated having to put it down. It kept me interested the whole time and wanting to hear more and more.

To truly enjoy this series, you need to go back and read the Fatal series which leads right into the First Family series. The characters are so real they feel as though they are part of your family and circle of friends. The storylines are captivating and immediately make you one with what is happening...never to let you go. Every book is well worth reading so don't miss out!
