I totally enjoyed this book!Sam and Lacey get to 'clear' a huge mansion that is being turned into apartments.Lacey also gets to make a few elderly people happy. Laura Watson was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.' 

New ideas!

This unique duo solves things on request with some supernatural clues, lots of due diligence, and perseverance. It becomes clear to them after solving this one that prosecution is not their only goal as the guilty have already died. In a mansion previously owned by former Hollywood stars the new owner is prevented from dividing it into apartments by manifestations. On a parallel, Lacey becomes involved in rescuing the mother of her rotten ex from a major problem. Another great cozy in series, but easily stands alone.
Laura Wilson is the gifted narrator.

Old Hollywood

Another fun adventure with Lacey and Sam. I enjoy seeing their relationship grow, the characters becoming more comfortable with each other. I like the new people we meet in this book too. the story is good and kept me entertained. I can't wait to see what they get into next.

Engaging Series

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is the third book in the Lacey Fitzpatrick and Sam Firecloud series. It is a standalone book with no cliffhanger ending. It can be read without having read any of the prior books in the series. There are a few references to events which occurred in the prior books but quick summaries are provided to bring you up-to-date and understanding of those events is not integral to understanding the plot of this book. Having said that, this is a very engaging series and to fully appreciate the main characters and their growth within the series, it is recommended that you start with the first book in the series, "Ghost Walk."

Each book in this series has focused on a different type of investigation, which I completely enjoy. It certainly is not a cookie cutter series. And the focus this time is a haunting of an old mansion, which has been refurbished. The relationship between Sam and Lacey has continued to grow and I like their interactions with each other. Both Lacey and Sam are well-developed, believable, and likeable characters whose relationship growth is very realistic. I enjoyed the story so much that I listened to it during two very extended hikes, much to the delight of my dogs.

The narrator, Laura Wilson, is the same throughout the series and does a very nice job.

Yes I said free, all of them Alyssa our stock books have been free. I got them on Facebook, and loved everyone of them. I love the adventure, I love learning about Indian customs and beliefs, That is what these books give me. Mystery mystery and the experience of learning. Thank you Melissa great books I look forward to the next one this will be it I think number seven or eight great job and thanks for giving them for free my classroom to review them.

Family, understanding and forgiveness

I loved this book Star Walk was truly about family understanding and forgiveness. It made me sad but it also made me smile. Star Walk is well written with an absolutely amazing and believable plot. I still and forever will always love the strong characters. I received this audio book at my request. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I can't wait to read the next book.

Family matters

The title is Star Walk as in Hollywood but this gem is about family, the good, the bad and ugly. I really enjoyed the ghostly walk by Sam and the search for answers by Lacy. I like the story as their partnership grows and will be happy to pick up the next book in the series.
