Sweet, as usual for Janette Oke!

I loved this series of 4 books. They are good Christian stories of family, love, & God’s goodness. The narrator is so good & doesn’t disappoint.

Would have liked a different reader for Josh but overall is what good

I liked the overall story line, though at times very predictable. I enjoy stories of faith.

Great series

I love Jeanette Oke, she is a wonderful author. I read my first book at age 20, and am know 63, I still enjoy her stories and writing style.

The journey

From book one through the end of book 3, this young man’s journey has been a friendship experience. I have enjoyed walking beside him, smelling the Earth and the cattle, getting to know his friends and family, and worshiping with him.  Thank you so much for sharing this story of growth and every day life from this time period.

Love Oke's stories

I am pleased with all of Oke's books, and enjoy the narrator - except for the occasional vocal fry.

Pleasant and easy read.

Relatable story. Hardship , faith and life struggles. Glad to listen to kind of story when oneself is having difficulty with her faith . Thank you.

Great Ending to the Series

What a powerful ending to this series. Josh Jones is given the farm to continue the family tradition. Through this comes much responsibility to provide for his grandfather, uncle and his new wife and children. His faith, endurance, and grit is tested when the Great Depression and a three year drought hit.

Great Read!

I loved the entire series It was full of love, hope , joy and God’s promises. Highly recommend to others looking for Christian fiction.
