Det er lige netop den slags sms‘er, man ikke skal få på vej til en vigtig medarbejdersamtale. Hvordan skal man argumentere for, at man skal have lønforhøjelse, når man ikke kan andet end at fnise som en lille skolepige og tænke på de voldsomme orgasmer, man har fået med sin tidligere chef, der ud af det blå skriver til en? Og er det ikke utroligt, hvordan en enkelt sms kan vende op og ned på hele ens liv, der ellers lige gik så godt?
Novellen er udgivet i samarbejde med den svenske filmproducer Erika Lust. Hendes formål er at skildre menneskets natur og mangfoldighed gennem fortællinger om passion, intimitet, kærlighed og lyst i en kombination af stærke historier og erotisk komedie. Olrik er forfatter til en række erotiske noveller, blandt andet Doktorleg, Nymfen og faunerne, Den røde diamant, Spillet med Mr. X og Spansk sommer.
