On several occasions, a half-dozen of Spider-Man's greatest enemies have banded together as the Sinister Six. Now, at the behest of a deadly benefactor known only as the Gentleman, the Chameleon has been tasked with assembling a new Sinister Six with the most ambitious scheme yet! Soon, he has recruited the Vulture, freed Electro and Dr. Octopus from prison, and been joined by the Gentleman's mysterious ward, Pity. That only leaves Mysterio, but the master of illusion has a plan of his own.
A number of Hollywood people have been targeted for murder, including the cast and crew of Fatal Action 4, the latest acting vehicle for Spider-Man's wife, Mary Jane! Spidey must halt Mysterio's deadly rampage before more lives are claimed. But even that may not be enough to stop the gathering of the Sinister Six!

Misleading but…
The whole story was rather well done and dramatic. My only two points are, one: I would’ve liked it to have been a multi cast audio performance. We know that marvel can do that because they did very well on planet hulk. The other thing is there is no sinister six together in this story. This is a lead up to that. But a great Mysterious versus Spider-Man story

It reads like a comic book story
In this Book the narrator is Tim Page which does a Good Work with this story, his Spider-Man and Peter both feel very believable especially when things get serious and you feel the arrogance when he does Mysterio. If you are a comic book fan or a Webhead this book is for you!

First book in the trilogy
Great book, I was excited when I saw this title was coming to audible, I enjoyed the book in print and it was fun to experience it so well acted out. Hopefully they release the remaining 2 books in the Sinister Six trilogy soon!
