LOVED Olivia & Casey!!
The perfect mix of steamy romance, emotion, light-hearted humor and suspense. Seriously y'all need this book in your lives. Holy smokes. This book is amazing from beginning to end. The sparks, the chemistry, the snark, the love, the lust. I loved this book from the first. Brian Palino & Morais Almeida do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life.

Hmmm just ok
I read this book a while back and actually loved it. I hadn’t read the first in the series though. This time I read the first book and I adored it. But when it came time to reread this one, I just didn’t care for it.
I think even if I had not read the first book in the series and had just reread this book, I wouldn’t have been happy with it. Sorry

Southern Comfort
Book two in this series was a little harder for me to buy into, but it was still enjoyable. I liked that this book had a bit more of a mystery aspect (which I thought we would get in the first book but it was saved for this one!) which allowed for some more romantic suspense in the small town life. I think the narrators did a good job with this one and I'm actually becoming a fast fan of Brian Pallino, so they had a part in making this story enjoyable! Will definitely be continuing this series!

Discordance. This doesn’t match with excerpts of their relationship in book 1.
Book 1 suggested said that they were already kissing and tentatively moving towards a relationship ( he kissed her at the bar dance and also Callie saw she had a hickey and she told Callie that her brother likes to “brand her”.
Then suddenly it’s like none of that happened. I hate that ! I just could not get into the book after that.
