There is a lot of repetition in this book especially in the beginning. I had to cut short the two intros. The narration was awful and I already knew what the jost of the book was about. As I hoped, the narration got better as it went.

The love story between Elena and Brio was/is awesome and validates much of what I had experienced with my soul dog. I got another chance many years after my Hopi transitioned to have a short lived, year and a half love, with an old Rottie during the last year and a half of his life. Although I've had many animals whom I've loved dearly, these two are the most poignant. They do visit afterward. You just need to be open. Enjoy!

Elena Mannes explores many aspects of our spiritual connection with our animals in physical life and beyond. One of the best books on this topic!

That's one of those books that you can't put down or rather put on pause that do whatever else you need to do you think you can you think you will you think you are but there you are and you can't it's not good all around The story the delivery the narrator... 5 *✓+

Listened to it after my dog/friend Maya got into an accident and passed away instantly. It certainly helped me cope with the pain.
