Overall happy with this book.

Don’t be fooled by people complaining on this book. In my opinion Atz was trying to atone for his past. Maybe it is hard to say to your kids you are sorry and you can’t get any more genuine than the way he put his faults and failures out there. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

This is hands down the best book I've ever listened to! the original music that was added topped of my listening experience. I grew up watching Alaska The Last Frontier with my dad. I ended up buying this book on Amazon and sending it to him. Thank you for sharing your stories and your healing with us! it has helped me tremendously. ❤️

for anyone who watches Alaska the Last Frontier will love this heartfelt novel, narrated in a heartfelt wonderful way by Otz himself. he wrote This Book, beautifully writing about each of his children and his family as a young boy. He writes about his struggles and opens up his whole world of loves and regrets. I loved this book.

Life as it’s truest...

Rarely does an author truly share their life with so many facets... the good, bad, triumphs, heartaches, love and loss. And for realizing some old habits need to go away so better ones can happen. Thanks for sharing!

I will listen to this story again. it's the best audible I've heard. I have listened to other authors read their story but Atz relived his story in this book. what a gift. I knew there was more under the surface of the show and this makes me want to hear more. I feel voyeuristic watching last frontier but I can't help it. I just love it. now I know for sure as different as your lives all are from mine you are also very much alike . wish I could come meet you Atz and hear your stories in person. ( oh yeah, I loved the show before I knew jewel was connected to you all and loved it then and love it now). where can I get a hold of the songs at the end of each chapter?I'm sharing this to my parents.they will appreciate as well
