i felt my life in this story
I love this short story because I am in a place where I am looking for a place and time I missed by starting adulthood as a child. From that time on I pleased everyone but me. Now 68 and alone I still feel like that sixteen year old mother with all my hopes still ahead of me. Saying when I get my child in school I will go back to school also.. Instead I had another child. but not giving up I kept going back to school until I got a degree. So I think I see myself in the lady.

Superb narration!
I was delighted by this short story. It makes me want to read more about Georgia O'Keefe. Cynthia Nixon's narration was very easy on the ears, intelligently done, and one with the story.

a delight
Soaking in a tube on a Sunday evening
listening to this peaceful story. Great narration.
I am in a similar place in my life where Georgia
finds herself. TU Audible I needed this.

Wish it were longer
What a lovely story to hear about Georgie O’Keefe; I only wish as others have stated that this were a full length novel. I also LOVED Cynthia Nixon’s narration, she has a voice that is so smooth and enjoyable to listen to. I hope she has done other books, I will have to look and see.
