Good story

I really enjoyed this book but felt it could have gone deeper into Quinn's family drama.

A WOW love and life story.

Characters so widely diverse, you will definitely connect with at least one, if not all of them! I loved being reminded of the importance of friends, family, love and forgiveness. I liked the back and forth between past and present to the build up of the ending.

I love this

being a military vet that went thru DADT this hit home for me. love the two MC and that chemistry, gosh I'm gonna kiss my babe when I see her today cuz I know that chem... she is it for me.... oh yeah Definitely recommend this especially to my fellow vets.

Sweet Story Of Second Chances!

This was an excellent sweet story of second chances. Very good plot development from start to finish. The two main characters were excellent and had a ton of chemistry! The narration by Lula Larkin was excellent! Overall, an excellent story!

Good, but missing…

This was good, but having only learned just a little bit of Quinn’s family drama felt like it was missing something. I enjoyed it none the less, but would have liked a bit more had it delves into more of her family. Overall good book though!

Great debut by up & coming author Krystina Rivers

Who doesn't love second-chance romances? This is a well-written debut by Rivers that has all the angst, heat, and romance. I can't wait to read more from this author. If you like tropes, this book has plenty. And if you're a sucker for a military backdrop (especially don't ask, don't tell), order this audiobook immediately. I can' believe the publisher waited so long to put this audiobook out. Also, great narrator! Five full stars!

This author was new for me. I really liked the story, the characters & the narrator was great too! I'll be buying more from her.

Absolutely Wonderful

This was a second chance but still a slow burn romance showing how the former military rulers of don’t ask, don’t tell, affected the love lives of many. The book also deals with trust issues and the hurtful effects of not being accepted by families. I really enjoyed this and can’t believe it was a debut novel.

Entertaining debut

Great story and character development. Kirby won my heart with her ability to open her broken heart. It’s a lovers to enemies to lovers love story!
