Good Starting Point for Easing Stress
The last 10 years have been extremely stressful for me and I've finally come to a place where I know I need to start learning how to deal my trauma in a healthier way. This audiobook walks you through somatic therapy—basically, ways to pay attention to how your body reacts to stress and what to do with that info. The exercises are short and simple, which makes it easier to actually try them. What I liked was that it didn’t ask you to push through or “fix” everything at once. It’s more about slowing down and noticing what’s going on inside, without pressure. I have definitely felt calmer and more grounded so I'm really glad I have this audiobook a shot.

Gentle and Supportive
This was a very calming and supportive audiobook to listen to. The exercises were simple, clear, and easy to try at my own pace. I liked how the focus stayed on helping the mind and body work together to release emotional pain and feel more balanced. Joy’s explanations were kind and reassuring, which made the experience feel very safe.

Great for De-Stressing
Life has been so crazy lately, and this book has helped me so much. I've been able to slow down and focus on my body more than I had been before with other practices. I love the exercises and also the tips on silencing intrusive thoughts. Training your mind and body as one will help with so many issues that need healing. Anyone looking for a guide on personal growth will gain so much from this audiobook.

This audiobook is perfect for you if you are struggling with trauma and need a release. Finally Felt the Shift in My Body
I’ve tried so many approaches to ease my anxiety, but this audiobook actually helped me feel a difference. The exercises are short, doable, and surprisingly effective—even just listening to the breathing cues calmed me down. What really stood out was how it explained what was happening in my body without getting too clinical. I’ve started using a few of the practices daily and feel more in tune with myself. Definitely worth a listen if you're healing.
