A fantastic read!!!

This book provided a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience. I found myself consistently engaged and entertained by the narrative, and several elements contributed to my positive impression. One of the most compelling aspects, in my opinion, was the clever and creative concept of designing rooms themed after famous detectives. This ingenious idea immediately sparked my imagination and added a unique layer of intrigue to the story. Each room, dedicated to a different iconic sleuth, felt like a miniature world of its own, hinting at the personality and methods of the detective it represented. This thematic approach was not only entertaining but also served to enhance the overall atmosphere of the book, creating a sense of playful mystery and inviting the reader to become a part of the detective world. The concept of themed rooms resonated with me on a personal level, bringing to mind the distinctive ambiance of the Anniversary Inn. The Anniversary Inn, known for its elaborately themed suites, offers a similar experience of stepping into a different world, and the book's detective-themed rooms evoked that same sense of immersive storytelling and imaginative design. This connection further amplified my enjoyment of the book, adding a layer of personal resonance to the already compelling narrative.

A perfectly on tone, right-sized cozy mystery! Not to campy, and not to contrived. Likable characters, fun plot and kind of writing that’ll keep you listening until the very end.

i loved it. it's a great cozy murder mystery. a fun read that keeps you guessing.

Narrator doesn't cut it

What disappointed you about Snowed Inn?

The narrator of the story in the book is supposed to be a young widow in her late 20s. The actress they chose was in her late 60s and you can tell. She sounds like an old lady. It ruins the story for me. I can't get past it. I tried and tried.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Different narrator would have helped make this a better book, but there were a lot of things that the writer just expected you to take too big of a leap off the high dive of gullibility.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Flora Plumb?

I don't have any names, just someone younger, and her Italian accent--Mama Mia! BAD!
