After the weight of reading book 2 in this series (A very good story, just a lot to take in and process!), it was great to read this book which had so much joy, energy, and flavor! I loved seeing Jack fall head over heels for Ella! Great one-liners in this book, which I had to listen to again and again! Take Ella’s advice - and you can’t go wrong!

If you want a great story and the feel of real characters then, “Smooth Talking Stranger,” by Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite books. The narration and performance byBrittany Pressley will sweep you away and make you feel like you’re a part of this modern day love story.....this was a 5 Star + for me....and I hope you too will enjoy it as much as I did. Great story...even better dialogue

Who else is obsessed with the dialogue?!? I didn’t think I’d like this book, but after the first hour, I was hooked! Luke is adorable and the love story between jack and Ella is fire! Love this story

Loving this series

Love this series and all the characters and the story line enjoy how they flow from each book. Really enjoyed listening to it

Totally craveable

I don’t know why it had taken me so long to read this when I’ve had multiple copies in paperback and digital. Totally regret that. As I’ve said multiple times, Lisa Kleypas has a very distinct contemporary voice compared to her historical style. Her sense of Texas and her intimate knowledge of the differences between the cultures of Houston and Austin are beyond outstanding. And while Hardy Cates is forever my favorite of her contemporary heroes, Jack immediately takes second place. He is probably LK’s horniest hero. Oh and sweet baby Luke. He is the most present baby I’ve ever read. A real character.

I would have already given this book five stars but Brittany Pressley took it up a notch. She’s absolutely brilliant.

Better than I remember!

If you read these book a few years ago, the audiobook is a must!

The Travis men are all so different from one another. Sometimes you want to squeeze the stuffing out of them, while other times you want to wring their necks.

Recommended audiobook with great narration.
