This series is finally getting better . I will try the next one but the story looks weird

Another good book.

Once again, Harmon knocks it out of the park. And the lady that is doing the narration is perfect for the job.

Astra Takes the Lead

In Small Town Heroes, Harmon pulls his heroine Astra out of Chicago and off on her own in his world’s version of Cuba. She’s receiving visions of a town being burned to the ground and learns that it’s in Guantanamo Bay in a way that fits in very nicely with Harmon’s super universe. Castro has been overthrown in this world, replaced by a disturbing super-powered dictatorship. Add in U.S. military forces, top secret research projects and a couple handfuls of surprises and you have the makings of yet another great novel in the Wearing the Cape series.

There is a great mystery that forms the thread upon which the whole novel is built, and I found the solution totally satisfying. It’s also really fun to see the developing Young Sentinels team in action at different parts of the book. The team is growing in both size and experience and they are clearly going to be a lot of fun in the future.

If you’ve enjoyed the first books in this series, you’ll be pleased with this one. I also think it makes a fairly good jumping in point if you’re wondering what the series is all about.

Solid Super Hero Story

This was a fairly fun entry, if a bit confusing at times. Hope makes a good main character, much happier with focusing only on her. This has been a very enjoyable series so far.

Small Town-Big Heroes

Another great expanding book into the Astra universe where even a fictional small town needs Heroes.

Love this series!

A little less action in this book than others in the series, but i still can’t get enough Wearing the Cape! Have all the books available on Audible and the latest unfortunately only in print. Pining away for the next. Would love to see/hear them “dramatized” but then again, Ms Kelly’s performance is second to none. Why this has not been spun off into a TV series is beyond my understanding. Hope others enjoy it as much as i do!

Solid side story

I thought this was a pretty decent side story. It wasn't to the point to where it was not related to other things within the core of the series, but it really wasn't necessarily heavy information that you need to carry on to go over other books. It was a good standalone on his own if you have any knowledge of previous books in the series. It was a shorter one than normal so it will straighten to the point.

Good to revisit this after so long

I first read these right out of college and really loved them. When the audiobook came out I bought it to see if I was as good as I remembered and it was. Great easy listen to get into and I really recommend it to anyone who enjoys the series.
