Simon Says...Scream Bk 4
I really enjoyed this thriller/suspense story - Dale Mayer's character building of flawed police detective Kate Morgan and romantic interest Simon also severely flawed in a story that wraps you in suspense. The plot is very sad and can be grewsome at times to catch a serial killer but the journey with these 2 flawed characters was worth the ride...and the credit.
Both Kate and Simon struggle with their childhood upbringing however as adults they struggle different battles - Simon specifically doesn't know how or want to have paranormal experiences (handed down from his grandmother) yet they're thrust upon him and he can't turn it off. Kate doesn't know if she believes him, and tries to understand, while still reaching out to Simon for assistance in stopping a serial killer.
