Really Great

The narration and the story were spot on I enjoyed this so much. I can't wait for what's up next.

Lucas & Matt

Lucas and Matt definitely meet in an unconventional way, Matt is an escort that Lucas hires, but their real attraction and chemistry are instant. Neither one is looking for a relationship but it's hard to resist when their feelings start growing and deepen. I really like how they let things progress slowly and really got to know one another. The narrator did a great job with all of the character portrayals and with the story itself. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

My favorite in the series

Silk is my favorite story in the series. I loved the story line and the characters. It was well written and entertaining. Of course I loved the HEA because that’s the reason I read romance anyway! The steamy scenes were great because John Solo does them so well. He’s one of my favorite narrators.

Great story and good performance

I was given a free audio copy from the author and the GRR arc team for review.

I enjoyed the first book Lace (3.5 stars) but this one was way better. I haven't read 2 or 4 yet.

This is book 3 but can be read as a standalone. None of the characters from the previous books are mentioned and the storyline is completely different in each book. The only thing that are the same are the the similar titles having to do with fabrics that feature in each book.

Lucas is a rich business man and hires escorts routinely but never the same one twice. Preferring not to get close to anyone and it's never been a problem until Matt. Matt manages to get under Lucas's skin and push his boundaries like no other and keeps him coming back for more.

Matt is a part time underwear model and part time escort and also works at his family's restaurant which he will one day soon inherit. His family is not aware of his extra careers. He's never had a problem with keeping things with his clients strictly business and doesn't date. Stating he won't give it away for free if someone will pay for it. So he never expects that his business life and personal life will mix.

This was a great sweet, fun, humorous and sexy read. It was very well written. The plot was interesting the whole way through and I didn't want to put it down. The 2 main characters had great chemistry and were each very loveable in their own right. I also very much loved Lucas's Grandma and absolutely adored Matt's friend Trey who was hilarious and fun. I very much hope he gets a book. I absolutely would recommend this book and i absolutely will be reading more from this author.

John Solo did a good job narrating (4 stars). He's not one of my favorites but he's definitely a popular choice and I enjoyed it. He definitely puts his all into his performances and brings the story to life but a lot of times the 2 main characters voices were very similar. He was great with the older fathers voice and the female voices though.

Matt is an escort who is just trying to make ends meet. He also models and works in his parents restaurant. He meets Lucas who's quite wealthy. But he's closed off and somewhat cold. He rarely gives anyone a second round. There's something about Matt that pushes his buttons, so he keeps calling him to come back. They become friends. This was fantastic!! Loved listening to Lucas fall! John Solo did a great job with the narration!

So Very Good!  Silk lives up to its name..  pure silk.. finest there is!  Good narration!  Nice pacing and will give you lots of feels!  

Sizzling hot sex and an emotional connection that echoed through space. Wonderfully erotic!  This is worth reading just for the scenes between the men, but it is so much more than just physical!  This book is also filled with humor, has nice sweet moments and so much romance that it will warm your heart!

I really enjoyed how the author created an almost touchable connection between these two men.  I really loved both of them learning about themselves, seeing them learning to hope and to love.  Both of the main characters are engaging and have functional lives, but something important is missing.  They find out that it is each other that is the missing

Ms Wells is genius and has created another amazing masterpiece!  Her main characters are supported by a great network of friends and family.  i fell in love with Lucas's grandmother, Diane and Angela, Matt's sister is terrific.

I have read and enjoyed the first 2 books, Lace and Satin and I am looking forward to reading the next story about Matt's friend Tony in Denim. 'A Material World book 4.

Another amazing listen!

I love Lucas and Matt's story! They have amazing chemistry and I love this opposites attracts storyline. Such a fun and sweet story. Then John Solo brings thay story to life. I fell more in love with this story. Such an amazing listen!

Great story

I very much enjoyed this audiobook. I think John Solo did a great job with Lucas and Matt’s story. I loved the connection these two had from the start!! I highly recommend this one even if you haven’t heard any of the others in the series. Each book is a stand-alone.
