Extraordinary
This is the complex very well written book, and has extremely good character development. I reread it a few times in places, simply because the reading is super and the plot is even better. If you like British police procedurals with real character development, try this one out

Disappointing all around
Be it unfair to rate a book without finishing it, I’ll share my modest experience. The narrator’s characterization of a particular character, one who makes up much of the book’s dialogue, became unbearably irritating. The story itself was not the strongest of the series either. I finish most books, but after struggling to engage in this one, just let it go.
