Love this series of books!!

These books totally sucked me in!! You cannot help but love this family and the adventures they have! Finished all the books in a week and that is not like me!! Praying book 6 will come out!!

The time traveling Druid saga entertains.

Myra is sent forward in time for her protection.
Todd is suspicious of Myra, but wants to protect her, risking his job as an officer to to do so. But when trouble returns to the future, how far will he go to help her? Will he go across time itself?
Another great story, well crafted. A must read series.

Entertaining!!

A great story line with engaging character development throughout the enchanting druid tale. I'd recommend this book to anyone.

Catherine Bybee is Awesome

It has been a few years since I've read Catherine Bybee's stories in print. I was happy to see this series available in Audible Escapes as it is a series that I had missed. She is masterful with her characters... especially strong women match with challenging men. I'm a scientist but historical time travel romance is a love of mine and being able to listen as I commute is truly a pleasure that brightens my days. The narrator is wonderful with his use of various voices. The tone of his voice is pleasing and not grating as some are. There have been books I thought I'd really like but listening for just a few minutes I knew it would be torture to continue. This is certainly not true of this narrator.

Great Highlander Series - Modern Meets Medieval

This is book 2 in a series. Audible isn't showing the series properly and book 4 came out first and confused many buyers which is a shame as I'm sure that affected the love of these stories to unexpectedly plop late into the series, so the books come in this order.

#4 Highland Shifter
#5 Highland Protector (not out in Audiobook yet)

This is a GREAT series, funny, serious, lots of twists and turns, and parts will make you cry. Love the books. AND the narration by David Monteath is PERFECT and frankly that alone is worth the listen. It's great to hear a Scottish man read for the male characters for a change as it really adds to those characters in an addictive sexy way. He's now one of my favorite "readers" (and I've heard many).

The books blend time travel, history, battles, humor, suspense, magick and romance (and some sex) in just the right blend. Each book picks up pretty much where the previous book leaves off and you'll want to go through the next all as soon as each one. It's more a tale of all these great characters, so it's a great family tale not just a romance based on "where can we insert plenty of sex scenes".

While some argue there's enough explanation in each to have them stand alone, since characters' histories and actions span multiple books, do yourself a favor and read them in order!!

Love these books, hope this series continues on and on....

Exciting time travel romance novel. This is book 2 in this series by Catherine By bee. Narration provided by David Monteath. Love this series and eagerly jump from one to the next. Its nice to be able to follow the characters through the books. Easy to recommend this series. 😍

Todd and Myra

Great book, but I don’t know what it is but I hate the relationship between Todd and Myra. I found myself wanting to fast forward through any of the parts involving them but I listened to the whole book to hear about another blossoming relationship. There’s another series where the last book was disappointing and I think it’s the princess/cop relationship. Nothing against cops at all but the story involving this type of relationship bugs me for some reason.

Engaging

Loved this book in the series! I can hardly wait to progress through the other books in the series! The narrator has a delightful talent with a Scottish brogue.
