Das Space Shuttle "Globus" startet zu einem neuen Weltraumflug. Die Steuerung übernimmt die Hauptkontrollsoftware KX7000, ein Programm, das über künstliche Intelligenz verfügt und von den Technikern liebevoll Plock genannt wird. Der Start ist erfolgreich und das Shuttle unterwegs ins All, als plötzlich sämtliche Computer des Shuttles und der Bodenstation verrücktspielen. Das Shuttle droht zu explodieren! Schuld daran sind die GLITCHES, fünf bösartige Computerviren, die sämtliche Rechner aller Weltraumzentralen überfallen und unter ihre Kontrolle gebracht haben. Das bedeutet Alarm für den jungen Computerfreak Danny und die fünf Antivirus-Programme der COMPUTER FORCE. Wird es Romm und seiner Truppe gelingen, die GLITCHES zu stoppen?
