Insightful and promotes hope!
Thank you for sharing your story Jay! I do believe people who hear or read this story will be more aware of their own shotgun angels and hopefully take time to write how God has worked throughout their lives. It is also a good reminder of grace. Your words and perspective were humble and not preachy. I hope others will take time to read your story.

A great read of Jay's inspiring journey.
So glad he shared his personal story with us. Thanks for giving the glory to God and His will in your life. That is inspiring. This book is certainly worth reading and I highly recommend the audio book of Jay's voice telling his own story. I listened to the entire book on a cruise vacation, gazing out into the ocean and pondering what God has done in my life. Thanks for sharing your story with us Jay. I know it wasn't an easy road, but it's an inspiring story to share with others.

Loved the rawness of his story!
Hearing Jay Demarcus read his own life story was so interesting. He shared the happy, the sad, the encouraging and the heartbreaking moments of life. So raw and honest, all the while giving hope and communicating grace. Hearing how God has grown his faith through the years was so encouraging.

Absolutely amazing!!
I loved it!! There were so many situations that I could relate to! My mom was my best friend! She was so faithful to God and it took awhile for me to grasp her faithfulness! I lost her in 2015 at the age of 78 and it was the most hurtful thing I have every been through!! I am a very dedicated fan of Rascal Flatts! Every song touches my life in some way! But this book touched my life even more! Thank you Jay, for sharing your story with the world! I truly loved it!

Raw Real and Honest
Rascal Flatts has always been one of my favorite bands. I’ve followed Jay since the Michael English days. His story of hope and strength mixed with “real talk” is worth the listen. Excellent book!
